Description

David Lewis was a notorious outlaw circa 1790 to 1820. The legendary counterfeiter and robber became known as the “Robin Hood of Pennsylvania” as well as other monikers like “Lewis the Robber”, David “Robber” Lewis, and “Davey Lewis." Matt Maris of Local Historia will tell the outlaw's incredible story while sharing research methods and key findings that connect David Lewis to central Pennsylvania. Matt will also provide a behind the scenes discussion about how the tv episode was made in collaboration with WPSU (PBS).
