Service Description

Bellefonte Hub is a free community information platform for residents of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area, operated by Bellefonte Hub LLC. It aggregates local events, trash and recycling schedules, business listings, weather alerts, job postings, road conditions, and links to borough and county services. The platform is provided as a community service and is free to use.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bellefonte Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

User Conduct

When using Bellefonte Hub, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or community members
• Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) through any platform feature
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful

We reserve the right to remove accounts or content that violate these standards at our sole discretion.

Business Listings

Businesses listed on Bellefonte Hub must be legitimate businesses operating in or serving the Bellefonte, PA area. Listings must contain accurate information. We reserve the right to remove, modify, or decline any business listing at our sole discretion, including for inaccurate information, failure to maintain an active subscription where applicable, or any other reason we deem appropriate to protect the quality of the platform.

Community Supporter Subscriptions

Community Supporter subscription tiers are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at bellefonte.hub@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for already-billed subscription periods. All subscription fees are stated in US dollars.

Content Disclaimer

Much of the content on Bellefonte Hub is aggregated from third-party sources including borough websites, school district feeds, weather services, and local business information. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, aggregated and scraped content may contain errors, outdated information, or omissions. We are not liable for decisions made based on information obtained from this platform. Always verify time-sensitive information (school closings, emergency alerts, business hours) directly with the source.

Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep Bellefonte Hub available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance windows, unexpected outages, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses or inconveniences caused by platform downtime.

Intellectual Property

The Bellefonte Hub name, logo, and original content created by Bellefonte Hub LLC are the intellectual property of Bellefonte Hub LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without written permission. Third-party content aggregated on this platform remains the property of its respective owners.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be resolved in the courts of Centre County, Pennsylvania.
