Full Moon Walk

Join us for a unique evening experience under the light of the full moon. This program will include a guided walk followed by a campfire. Learn about nocturnal adaptations and the critters of the night with Centred Outdoors guides, as well as an exploration of the night sky with volunteers from Penn State’s Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Please come prepared with a thermos or bottle for hot drinks, warm clothes, and a headlamp or flashlight — although on most clear nights, the headlamp will stay in your pack as the moonlight will guide the way!

- Due to the nature of this event and location, attendance is limited. - Registration is required. Registration opens 7 days before the event.- Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so the program can begin promptly.

In the event of severe weather that would impact enjoyment of the event or travel conditions, cancellation may occur. We will make a decision by the morning of the event. Participants will receive an email notification, and updates posted to our website and social media.
