The Collective Souls Substance Abuse & Grief Support Group

Our community is in desperate need of support groups to deal with the effect that Substance Abuse has had on all of us. We all know someone who has suffered with the disease of addiction and the fallout that comes along with it, especially the grief associated with the death of a loved one, lost relationships, and the many forms of death outside of simply the physical form. This is a group for all people who wish to gather support, hope, love, acceptance, wisdom, trust, and truth.

The group will meet every Wednesday evening from 7-8pm starting on June 4th, 2025 at the Mint Condition Chiropractic Wellness building in Grampian, PA and will be ongoing. The meetings will be a hybrid of various self-help concepts, including themed discussions based upon specific topics, open-forum extemporaneous dialogue, public education, and possible music therapy. We will rotate through these concepts throughout the month.

Light refreshments will be available, e g., coffee, water, snacks, and a donation bucket will be provided for anyone who is able to contribute to the rental of the space and continued refreshments, although it is absolutely not necessary. The primary concern is individual attendance and participation and an effort to create a network of support that sees itself as a family. All are welcome regardless of religion, sex, gender, creed, culture, or ethnicity. The group will certainly be accepting of diversity equity, and inclusion of all people.
